Turn your everyday online shopping into FREE donations
Over £35m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
The William Merritt Disabled Living Centre & Mobility Service is an organisation that offers impartial advice to any individual who requires information about equipment (assistive technology) to improve or maintain independence. This includes advice about driving. We have a range of equipment on display and a fleet of adapted cars, but we do not sell anything. We can obtain additional equipment for assessment purposes as necessary. Our experienced Occupational Therapists carry out comprehensive assessments to ensure that the equipment identified really does meet the individual\'s need now and in the longer term. This avoids making expensive and sometimes dangerous mistakes and means that you can be fully armed with information before pursuing the purchase of what is often expensive equipment. Our assessment and advice service covers a broad range of equipment including scooters, wheelchairs, stairlifts, seating, bathing etc. We give advice on a comprehensive range of topics and our service is available to all ages including children.
It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 2.1 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £35 million.
