About Women for Women Cycle India - Carolyn Julien

I am raising funds for The Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trust\'s Women for Women Appeal. The money will be used specifically to train women scientists and clinicians to undertake pioneering work to improve the diagnosis, prevention and care of women\'s health problems and those associated with conception, pregnancy, birth and the early days of life. The new Wolfson & Weston Research Centre for Family Health - created in part with funds from the Women for Women rides - houses the largest team of doctors and scientists in Britain, working together to improve the health and women and babies. Hundreds of women have already helped to raise nearly £1 million by taking part in previous women-only cycle challenges. I am aiming to raise £2700 to take part in Cycle India, a 425km ride from Agra to Jaipur in November 2006.
