About West Rhyl Young People's Project
West Rhyl Young People’s Project (WRYPP) is a community-based Charity, in the second most deprived ward in Wales, which provides an accessible centre for young people aged 14 to 25; offering information and support and a range of informal learning opportunities intended to increase skills, awareness and individual capacity to undergo positive transition into adulthood. WRYPP’s holistic approach assists young people to gain the skills that will be preventative and allow them to make informed lifestyle choices. We aim to enable young people to break the cycle of poverty and poor health. Services offered include an information & advice drop-in, sexual health clinic; lesbian, gay & bisexual young people’s service; and Pixel Power – alternative education programme.
