About West Yorkshire Dog Rescue
West Yorkshire Dog Rescue rehome unwanted and abandoned dogs, using a careful matching process and homecheck to ensure the right dog is rehomed to the right owner. All dogs have necessary vet treatment prior to rehoming, including neutering, vaccinations, micro chipping, treatment for fleas and worms and dental work. We do not house dogs in kennels, instead foster homes enable the dogs to live with families until a home is found which gives the benefit of us understanding the dog’s personality and behaviour and keeps it happier than in kennels. To promote responsible dog ownership all dogs are covered by 4 weeks free pet insurance. If owner’s circumstances change we bring the dog back into the rescue for rehoming. West Yorkshire Dog Rescue aim to provide a community service both to people who want to give up their dogs for rehoming and to people looking to adopt dogs.
