Everything you need to know about easyfundraising

easyfundraising turns the everyday online shopping of your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours into funds you can put towards your upcoming run, climb, walk, or cycle. When they use the easyfundraising website or app to shop with leading brands, the brand sends you a free donation at no additional cost.


There are over 7,000 brands available to shop with, including eBay, Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, WowHydrate, CarWow, Currys, Compare the market broadband, Tesco groceries, Marks & Spencers, Sainsburys groceries and Jurys Inn. It means that no matter what your supporters are buying online, from travel and holidays to fashion, homewares, insurance, and groceries - they can earn free donations.

Your supporters can also generate donations when making their business purchases – there are over 200 business retailers like Viking, Staples, and Dell who will donate when you shop with them for tech, office supplies, business travel, and even business insurance.


To register your challenge with easyfundraising you will need to know:

  • The name you would like your challenge to be known by on easyfundraising - try to make this unique so that supporters know it's you 
  • The postcode - to help supporters when they search for causes local to them
  • A description - this should include who you are and what you are raising for
  • Payment details – easyfundraising can pay your donations by cheque or straight into your bank account so have your details ready 

There are also optional fields for: 

  • A logo 
  • Charity number - if you have one. 

You can come back to these optional fields later if you don't have the information to hand when you sign up


To get your fundraising off to the best possible start easyfundraising offers a completely free 1-2-1 session with one of our friendly fundraising coaches. It won't take long, and they will show you the best way to make easyfundraising work for your challege with tailored tips, tools, and a guided tour. 


Providing you have raised over £15, easyfundraising total up all the donations raised by everyone supporting your challenge every three months and send them to you by bank transfer or cheque. There is no charge for this. If you hasn’t raised over £15 in the previous three months, the amount simply rolls into the next payment instead.
