What started as a conversation at a New Year’s Eve party in 2002, easyfundraising officially launched in 2005. Whilst undergoing treatment for cancer, our founder Ian Woodroffe had the idea to connect fundraising with the then growing UK e-commerce sector. With a new found understanding of the importance of fundraising for charities and causes at this critical time in his life, his vision was to create an easy and free way to raise much needed funds for causes across the UK.
From something that quite literally started from around his kitchen table, to date easyfundraising has raised over £50 million for over 180,000 charities and good causes (and counting!).
Our purpose is simple. Together we turn the everyday spending of daily life into a force for good.

We strive to raise awareness among our employees about modern slavery, it’s indicators and the steps they should take if they suspect any wrongdoing. We provide relevant training to promote vigilance and understanding.We operate as a publishing website, offering a valuable service to fundraisers. It is important to note we do not function as a producer, manufacturer, or retailer of physical goods, nor do we have any supply chains associated with such activities. Through our platform users utilise 3rd party affiliate links on our site to raise funds for their chosen causes. We expect all our affiliate partners to support the modern slavery act in the appropriate manner for their business.We will use best endeavours to assess our suppliers and partners to ensure they share our commitment to eradicating modern slavery, our supplier contracts explicitly state our expectations on modern slavery and human trafficking.We are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our policies, procedures, and practices to ensure their effectiveness in preventing and addressing modern slavery.
