Frequently asked questions
Inclusivity has always been at the heart of easyfundraising’s eligibility criteria in terms of who can register on the platform. Whether your good cause is registered with a formal body, a volunteer group or even an individual looking to raise money for something you care about, we’re proud to support individuals and groups who are looking to make a positive change and do good in the world. Our causes range from national charities to sports teams, PTAs, and Scout groups, and lots in between. If you want to find out more, please drop us a line at support@easyfundraising.org.uk.
Providing you have raised over £15, easyfundraising total up all the donations raised by everyone supporting your good cause or charity every three months and send them to you by bank transfer or cheque. There is no charge for this. If your good cause or charity hasn’t raised over £15 in the previous three months, the amount simply rolls into the next payment instead.
Retailers pay us a commission when a sale is made on their website from a customer who has come via easyfundraising. We pass on at least 50% of that commission to the cause you have chosen to support. The donation amount you see on our website, app or browser extension is the amount we pay across to the cause.
We also make money from advertising retailer offers and promotions in emails and on our website.
Once you sign up your cause, you will be able to access a suite of tools to promote it to your friends and family.
These tools include pre-written social media templates, emails, whatsapp messages for you to use to spread the word about your cause.
Once your friends and family have signed up to support your cause, they’ll be able to shop online with their favourite brands using easyfundraising.
When they check out, the brands will donate a percentage of the final bill to your cause, as a “thank you” for spending with them using easyfundraising.
There are over 8,000 retailers including eBay, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Argos and John Lewis & Partners who will donate to your cause when you and your supporters spend on their website.

In our local primary school we raised £1000s through easyfundraising. Posters are up around the school and it has been promoted across all our social media channels and Year WhatsApp groups. We will also continue to ask parents to sign up at events when we are face-to-face.

easyfundraising is a vital source of income for us. We love it because our supporters can raise funds for us without making a donation themselves. It is surprising how quickly they add up. I think the potential to raise significant donations is the most surprising. With a strong recruitment strategy that targets new-starter parents, but importantly, local businesses who book a lot of travel and accommodation, the potential to raise £100s of pounds a month is there.
