Impact Fund – Terms and Conditions

The following rules apply to your participation in the easyfundraising Impact Fund. By applying you agree to the following rules:

1. AboutThe easyfundraising Impact Fund is a grant programme delivered by easyfundraising to support good causes across the UK. Eligible organisations can apply for a one-off grant of £500.  

2. Who can apply? Applications are open to UK-based not-for-profit organisations, including but not limited to:  

  • Registered Charities
  • Other not-for-profit organisations
  • Sports clubs and teams
  • Schools and education settings
  • After-school and youth groups
  • Social enterprises and Community Interest Companies (CICs)
  • Churches and religious organisations

3. Eligibility: To be eligible to receive a grant, organisations must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be based in the United Kingdom
  • Hold a valid UK bank account in the organisation's own name
  • Have a purpose that is lawful and considered by easyfundraising to be unselfish and community-focused
  • The application submitted on behalf of the organisation is by an individual aged 18 or over
  • Ensure the applicant has the authority and permission to act on behalf of the organisation

4. easyfundraising reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the eligibility requirements detailed in point 3 above , and only one application may be submitted per organisation.  

5. Grant details: easyfundraising will award up to 20 grants of £500 each

  • Each grant is a one-off, unrestricted payment=
  • Successful organisations will be notified by email within 28 days of the application closing date
  • Grant payments will be made by bank transfer to successful organisations within 28 days of the later of
    • a) successful contact being made with the organisation and
    • b) receipt of valid UK bank account details

6. If a successful organisation does not provide valid bank details within 28 days of notification, easyfundraising reserves the right to withdraw the grant and reallocate it to another eligible organisation.  

7. Selection: easyfundraising will not discriminate on the basis of organisation size, geographical location, cause type, or legal structure.  All decisions are final, and easyfundraising is unable to enter into correspondence regarding individual application outcomes.  

  • Applications will be assessed based on the published criteria (see section 9)  
  • easyfundraising will shortlist up to 100 applications for review  
  • Shortlisted applications will be reviewed by a panel made up of easyfundraising staff, partners, and charity sector professionals  
  • Up to 20 organisations will be selected to receive a grant  

Any actual or potential conflicts of interest identified by members of the judging panel will be declared and managed appropriately, including refusal from relevant decisions where necessary.  

8. easyfundraising reserves the right to:

  • Carry out additional checks to verify eligibility and application information  
  • Request further information where necessary

9. Application window: Applications must be submitted between 23 February and 5 April 2026. Applications received outside of this period will not be considered.

10. Engagement and publicity: While the grant is unrestricted, successful organisations agree to take part in reasonable engagement activities to help easyfundraising understand and share the impact of the fund. This includes:  

  • Providing a photograph (with all necessary permissions obtained)  
  • Supplying a short written update explaining how the £500 has been or will be used  
  • Taking part in a brief follow-up conversation with a member of the easyfundraising PR team  
  • Granting permission for the organisation’s name, images, quotes, and grant details to be used by easyfundraising in marketing, PR, and Impact Fund communications  

Failure to meet these reasonable engagement requirements may result in the grant being withdrawn prior to payment.  

11. Data protection: Personal data provided as part of an application will be processed in accordance with easyfundraising’s Privacy Policy. Data will be used solely for the administration of the Impact Fund, assessment of applications, communication with applicants, and related reporting and publicity activities.  

12. Changes, suspension and liability: easyfundraising reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Impact Fund or these Terms & Conditions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Any changes will not adversely affect organisations that have already been awarded a grant. To the fullest extent permitted by law, easyfundraising accepts no liability for any costs, losses, or damages incurred by organisations in connection with applying for or participating in the Impact Fund.  

13. Assessment criteria: Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Community impact - how clearly the organisation explains what they will do with the £500 grant  
  • Reach and beneficiaries - how clearly the organisation explains who will benefit from the funding  
  • Lasting benefit - The potential for the grant to strengthen the organisation’s ongoing work or facilities
