Donate your small electricals to help beat heart disease

July marks the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) 50th birthday. To celebrate Currys and PC World are aiming to collect 100,000 unwanted items from toasters and kettles to radios and DVD players to re-sell in BHF Furniture & Electrical stores, raising money to fight heart disease – the nation’s biggest killer.

Win brand new electricals

If you have an unused bread maker or blender lurking in the kitchen or a neglected Hi-Fi or hairdryer hidden in the loft, simply drop your unloved electricals into one of over a thousand locations including all Currys and PC World stores or BHF Furniture & Electrical stores and clothing shops. In return for your donation, you’ll receive the chance to win £1000’s worth of brand new electricals as well as a 5% off voucher to spend in Currys or PC World when you spend over £50.

If you can’t get to a drop off point the BHF will be offering their free collection service at evenings and weekends for larger electricals such as cookers and fridge freezers. Find out more.

Shop and raise funds too

Shopping with Currys and PC World through easyfundraising is a great way to support your own good cause too. You can raise up to 1% donation when you buy plus there’s always plenty of special offers on site to help you save money too.
