Cape Botanics is an eco-luxury brand that focuses on pairing the highest quality CBD with natural and organically farmed ingredients. Founders Katie and Will (husband & wife) have always been big advocates of both CBD and natural & complementary remedies. However, both have always felt uneasy with the lack of transparency a lot of UK brands had, especially with how their ingredients were sourced. They felt too many brands played on the gimmick of a marijuana plant rather than educating people on the benefits of what the actual plant offers. The future of the brand is in premium CBD skin and body care and there are a number of products in development. Within the team there is Katie, who is a complimentary therapist with 15 years’ experience in the wellness industry and Sherri our esthetician, who has 30 years of experience of working with CBD. The two of them are currently working on a number of premium eco-luxury CBD skincare products which Cape Botanics aims to launch in the coming months. Every decision Cape Botanics make takes the environment in mind. All the products are made from natural and organically farmed ingredients and are vegan friendly, cruelty free, pesticide free, paraben free, palm-oil free and made with no unnatural preservatives. The environmentally friendly ethos does not stop at what is in the products. The packaging is made from ultra violet glass that only allows only certain UV rays through the glass, therefore requiring less (if any) preservatives. They then package the products in bio-organic cotton bags and send each product out in a recycled box and sugar cane postal bag.
