Sabon

Sabon is born from a love to nature, delicious scents and an appreciation of the art of grooming and pleasure, and from their founders’ desire to bring more relaxation and magic to everyday lives. The very first Sabon store was opened in the mid-Nineties on Shenkin Street in the heart of Tel Aviv. The Sabon story starts with Sigal Kotler-Levi and Avi Piatok hand-making soaps in their home using a traditional Australian aboriginal recipe that they’d picked up on their travels. Having learned this time-tested method of creating fresh soaps sold by the pound, they experimented with their own inspired creations. Today Sabon is still celebrated for its personalised products, and the founders still love nothing more than developing extraordinary creations for body and soul, and cosmetics and toiletries which are as experiential as they are therapeutic. Sabon uses only the best-quality ingredients and teams this with captivating design, paying particular attention to packaging and the deeper meaning of the term ‘giving’. From its earliest days, Sabon has always been aware of the world that we live in, and we have made a point of using natural ingredients and preserving our precious environments.
