Sponge

Sponge started in the humble setting of the higgledy–piggledy cafe Byfords in Holt, Norfolk since the year 2000. We got lots of great feedback on how everyone loved our cakes and travelled for miles to get a slice or two. So, in 2009 we took Sponge out of the café and went on a mission to deliver great tasting handmade cakes to the nation, and thus Sponge Cakes Ltd was born. Since the official launch of Sponge.co.uk we have been delivering our delicious cakes all across the UK, reaching new audiences and expanding, to create a wide range of cakes and other goodies for birthdays, anniversaries, and many other occasions. Our mission is simple, deliver handmade delicious cakes and to put smiles on faces across the country. We love cakes, we love baking, and we love hearing about the happiness our cakes create for our customers, their friends, and their family members.
