How the £100 donation will make a difference for ELHT&Me?

Tell us about your cause
“ELHT&Me is the official charity of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Teaching Hospitals, community hospitals Accrington Victoria, Pendle and Clitheroe and the community healthcare services. Charitable funds enable us to do more for all areas of care from conception, through life to end of life to benefit our Trust colleagues, patients and their families. We invest in advances in technology to bring innovative equipment that is outside of the NHS budget such as robotic surgery, we resource meaningful wellbeing initiatives such as our charity therapy dog to reach as many people as possible, we enhance the physical environment by introducing beautiful outdoor areas to be shared with everyone and transform patient treatment areas to make hospital feel a little less like hospital, and we offer direct patient and family support to bring additional comfort, support and a warm charitable hug.”
Why did you sign up to easyfundraising?
“To empower our supporters to raise funds for us at no extra cost. It’s a great fundraising tool that we can promote and share just how easy it is to use.”
What do you like about easyfundraising?
“The donation reminder that informs a shopper whenever a donation is available and the percentage. Also when using the app, you will be notified of the total donated from each shop.”
What is your top tip for someone new signing up.
“Install the donation reminder so you don’t forget.”
Do you do any other fundraising outside of easyfundraising?
“Yes, we hold lotteries and prize draws, host our own events, attend community fundraising events and activities and make best use of all the promotional channels available.”
