The employees at easyfundraising vote each year for a Cause of the Year to donate
thousands to.
The charity chosen for 2023 is Home-Start Birmingham North West, which has a special
connection with easyfundraising.
Becky Coleman, Partnerships Manager, at easyfundraising nominated the charity. She sees
the hard work and dedication that the staff give to the families that they support as a
volunteer.
Becky says: “I have been volunteering at Home-Start since 2021 and really do see the real
differences that they make to families and children across the city.
“I felt very passionately about Home-Start Birmingham North West being the Cause of the
Year. I wanted to give something back to the charity that I love volunteering at. I’m so glad
they’re receiving our support this year, it really will make such an incredible impact.”
easyfundraising is largest giving platform, partnered with over 7,500 brands and have
donated to 190,000 charities and good causes.
Home-Start Birmingham North West’s supporters have been using the site to gain extra
donations for their services. are excited to be partnering with easyfundraising further.
Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and experts who are there
for families with young children that are facing challenges they need support with. There are
180 local, independent Home-Start’s working across the UK.

expected to be voted as Cause of the Year. We are thrilled to have the recognition that our
charity is making such a difference in our community.
“This is a massive opportunity for us and we’re so grateful for Becky nominating us. The
money we receive will mean we can fund a baby sensory group which is a complimentary
service we aren’t always able to offer. This will make a real impact on the families we
support. Everyone is very excited about the extra support we will receive as Cause of the
Year 2023..”
